Due to its high visibility in the color spectrum, orange is also commonly used on the reverse side of military jackets aboard ships to maximize reflectivity and visibility; for example, the lining of the American military MA-1 jacket is often bright orange. The new Seamaster Diver 300M model adopts a 42mm stainless steel case paired with a black aluminum dial. Continuing the classic design language since 1993, the watch is equipped with a helium escape valve at the 10 o’clock position to prevent gas buildup inside the case during decompression, which could otherwise affect the movement. The wave-patterned bezel grooves improve grip for rotation, while the hour markers, hands, and scale are coated with luminous material to ensure clear legibility in low-light underwater conditions.
At its heart is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806, showcasing the brand’s cutting-edge technology. It holds METAS certification from the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology, guaranteeing exceptional precision, stability, anti-magnetic properties, and power reserve performance. The watch is available in two versions, both featuring vivid orange accents: a matte metal Milanese bracelet paired with an orange central seconds hand and cursive orange Seamaster logo, and a version with an orange rubber strap.
